On the road to Holy Bowly the Lib Tech crew stay local and hit up the Northwest. Last season when the storms lined up across Washington, the stacked team called in “sick” to hit some home turf pow and line up for the Legendary Mt. Baker Banked Slalom. Their staycation features Baker backcountry, Alpental and a session in the Bomber Bowl at Mission Ridge. Add this to the list of insane edits on the Road to Holy Bowly that the Lib Tech crew have dropped from their adventures in the Washington state woods last season. The powder is awesome and it’s no wonder Travis misses his call up for the banked slalom practice run.
On the road to Holy Bowly
Waylaid by more epic waist deep powder, Travis Rice, Eric Jackson, Fredi Kalbermatten and Chris Rasman continue their trek for the Holy Bowly grail. This time they find the endless pillow stacks and pow line possibilities of Eagle Pass, Baldface and Saas Fee. If this vid doesn’t get you pumped to go out and find your own pow stash, then you’ve lived a sheltered life.
Lib Tech’s story and the road to Holy Bowly is not limited to snowboarding alone. The road starts much earlier, as you can see here, going through Idaho. The temps were high and the skating punk.
Ryan Carlson shows us how good life can be surfing Costa Rica’s jungle coastline. He moved from his home town of Huntington Beach, CA to get that surf trip feeling everyday. What better way to kick off the Road to Holy Bowly video series in style.
